Lizzy Mercier Descloux

This is all about Lizzy Mercier Descloux. She seemed like a really fun girl. She was part of the NY No Wave scene in the late 70's and early 80's and co-founded Ze Records. She died in 2004.

I like this cover. The colors are great and the layout is kind of old-fashioned. It's also making me think about buttoning my shirt to the top.

Here she is with Patti Smith. I am not really a fan of Patti Smith, but here I feel like Lizzy makes Patti look like she actually may have been fun or nice to some people once in a while.
