Emanuelle Khanh

Emanuelle Khanh started in fashion as a model in 1957. In 1962, she started designing, and throughout the 60's created collections for labels such as Krizia, Max Mara, Cacharel, Missoni, et al. Eventually, she started her own label, by which her sunglasses have a strong following (though more of a cult favorite in the US.)

Jane Birkin models an Emanuelle Khanh dress in US Vogue, August 1, 1966. Her name is spelled incorrectly in the editorial!

These are vintage Emanuelle Khanh sunglasses, though I'm not sure from which year. They would be funny to wear in the States, because I'm sure very few people would recognize the monogram. People would be trying to figure out what Canal St. knockoff it's supposed to be!

Such a cool necklace!
I haven't been able to find out whether this is by EK, or if someone else put the pieces together.
