Dries Van Noten, Spring 2011

Dries Van Noten has some really special things for spring 2011. As you can imagine, I am a huge fan of the holographic materials.

I'm also loving the disco-Chinoiserie floral patterns, because they transport me to a glamorous fantasy of the late 70's: I'm in my penthouse, wearing a satin robe lounging around amongst black lacquer furniture, mauve carpet, and metallic wallpaper. I would imagine, that as a proto-yuppie on a Sunday morning, I'm listening to Hall & Oates.
