These are a couple of really cool fused-glass mobiles made by Michael and Frances Higgins, owners of Higgins Glass Studio in Riverside, Illinois since 1948.
The top one is from the 90's and the bottom one is from the 70's.
Though the mobiles are my favorite, they also make things like sconces, platters, bowls, etc. My mom bought me a bowl that looks like their work, but it's not marked, so I am not sure.
Steve Strange from Visage. He was involved in many of the subculture scenes of the UK during the 70's and 80's, including punk and New Romantics, but he's mostly known for being a Blitz Kid (the most famous Blitz Kid is Boy George).
Tea set by Bauhaus-era ceramicist, Margarete Heymann. There was a recent article about her in the NY Times. It's interesting because it dispels a little mythology about the Bauhaus.
